Communicating with Parents

We aim to create an effective partnership with parents by providing excellent communications.

Academic Feedback

Parents receive written reports at least twice per year, together with an opportunity to discuss their daughters' progress with teachers at parents' evenings once a year (Years 7 - 11) or twice a year (Sixth Form).

Pastoral Issues

For specific issues concerning students, our pastoral system of Year Heads is the first port of call.

News and Information

General information and news sent to parents by the school usually takes one of the following forms:

We publish a weekly e-newsletter called 'Weekly F'Hill' especially for parents which is full of achievements, news, recent developments, photos, videos, examples of girls' work together with key information about forthcoming events.  In addition to Weekly F'Hill, we also produce a termly full colour printed newsletter.  To see the latest Weekly F'Hill or back copies of our termly newsletters, please use the links below:

Parent Portal

Parents have online access to all school information including their daughter’s timetable and school reports via the Parent Portal.

ClarionCall enables us to email or text parents with information and other messages but we are careful not to overuse this method of communication. Hard copy of all this information is also available.

Website and Social Media

Informal communication, such as news etc, is published regularly on the school website (see Latest News) and via social media (see below).
